the topic name maybe nice looking but..
my friend wanted to get married to her boyfriend (1 year and 4 months) and shes only 14 and hes da same age..both of their parents wanted were urging them to get married fer some reason and she said that they really loved each other and all...but i thought that was a horrid idea...i kept on sayin 'what if you lose attraction toward each other in da future??...why can`t you wait `till yur 18?'...still she was stubborn and wanted to get married but she was unsure...she kept on askin her other friends but they would give diff answers...i didnt want her to waste her teenage years, married already...she`s not pregnant or anything...she`s not in a hurry to have sex...she friggin told me she was gonna do it when she`s 18...thats like...kinda stupid...(how can someone wait that long?!hahaha..)..but she`s not married yet...she has second thoughts whether or not to get married.. point is.. when you think you`ve found the "one"...should you get married to that person?...are teen marriages an 'okay' thing?...and when would be the right age? there are too many divorces in america nowadays...and we are the future...we should cherish our love...and obide by the words "`till death do us part.."..i know all of you know the words during a wedding ceremony... and we, girls, love to dream about our future weddings! ![]() |

QUOTE(krnxswat @ Mar 27 2004, 2:01 PM) I'm 17 right now and I'm still a virgin, like many others. I plan to do it after I'm married. It's okay. I am too.. Why rush right? But wow! Your friend is weird, so are her parents. No offense! I mean, if she wants to get married she shouldn't be having second thoughts in the first place. When 2 people want to get married, they have to feel it in their heart and soul that they truly want to tie the knot. And your friend already discussed it with her parents.. Haha, I'm almost 18 and I've been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years, we've thought about getting married in the future but that'll when we're like 26 or 27, just not now.. and we don't even have the guts to tell both of our parents about our future together. I mean just as long as she and her boyfriend stay together and have a healthy relationship, then it'll be just fine for now. They don't need to get married at such a young age just to prove their love for each other. That's just crazy.. |
