have you noticed how the world is completely against left handed people?
school desks- as if those desks arent uncomfortable enough, lets just put the arm rest only on the right side, which makes writing with your left hand completely akward sissors- cutting with sissors and getting straight lines or good curves is just hard computer mouses/mice/meeces- theyre on the right, which although over time you adjust, it still makes drawing steadily difficult, especially when vectoring, which might just account for part of the reason im so terrible at it writing left to right- with our writing system, moving you hand left to right with your right hand is quite easy because you can pull it along, where as lefties have to push their hand along the paper, which takes more energy, is slower, and it gets the side of your hand rediculously dirty because it rubs the paper and smears the lead/ink see, its not easy, and its not fair. we should start a left handed peoples support activist group, or something of the sort. i mean sure, i may be able to get a scholarship for it, but thats about the only advantage. this unfair treatment of left handed people is unjust, and at the very least they should provide some lfet handed desks |

QUOTE You say I should get off your back about correct stroke order, yet you say people should learn Chinese correctly. But in your previous post you denote that it's fine to write right to left and that it doesn't matter if you write incorrectly in a sentence for homework. Contradictory. What the f*ck? I'm saying, I KNOW that it's left --> right in the sense that I know that's correct. Not in the way that I KNOW it because you tell me so much. How on earth does that contradict when I say, Left to Right is correct, so learn Chinese correctly! How?! QUOTE Yea, I'm left-handed, and writing strokes left--->right is a particular deficiency of mine. I'm not you. You're not me. You need to stop being an arrogant a-hole. Hey, I was just wondering, considering how illogical that is. Don't need to be such a b*tch about it. QUOTE Read this thread again, someone has complained about writing English left--->right. Get your facts straight before you go accusing people. Excuse me, I don't believe I was accusing anyone of anything in that statement. And what I meant by it was, if writing left to right is so damn hard for you, why aren't you complaining about English? I was referring to YOU, which I should have written. I said that frustration = unnatural, dumbass. You said frustration doesn't mean unnatural but now you're saying I'm just pointing out the obvious. WTF? QUOTE People write as if they were the same, some people don't. Ok. What are you trying to prove for your argument? Seriously, help me out here. *Sigh*. Okay. NOW LISTEN UP. Some people write like they would in calligraphy. Some people write like they would if they wrote with a pencil. You, here, are going ballistic over the fact not EVERYONE writes like that with a pencil. I agree with that. But it doesn't make it right, and I believe in correctness (see above). QUOTE Irrelevent to the situation? Then what have you been arguing about? It's the point of the argument! The original poster didn't understand my argument, so I clarified for him/her. Then you posted about how bitchy I was that I was whining about writing strokes from left--> right. That is why you're arguing with me in the first place. Irrelevent? NO! Because it is the catalyst for this argument. It's irrelevant because I was talking about writing with Calligraphy technique and writing with a pencil technique. While you blabbed on about how important Left --> Right is. I was referring ONLY to writing technique and NOT Left --> Right. Irrelevant? Nah. <--And since you're so horrible at catching sarcastic statements, that was one. QUOTE I said you're racist because you keep using "Chinese" in the context of race. "Are you even Chinese?" Why do you even need to know? Maybe I could be a Caucasian, and know about Chinese writing. "Chinese wannabe" cmon, that's stereotypical. You're saying Chinese people in general do calligraphy? Stereotyping. Stereotyping using the context of race = racist. I still don't understand. That's not racist. Please, look it up. "Chinese Wannabe"? I'll admit that's a bit racist, but stereotypical? I never said that all caucasians are "Chinese Wannabes" or anything like that. I only implied that "Chinese Wannabes" try to be Chinese and do it incorrectly...which is precisely what a Chinese Wannabe is. And when the f*ck did I say every Chinese person does calligraphy? QUOTES, PLEASE. QUOTE culture? wtf? this is about the Chinese language. Sorry, I meant to say language. QUOTE I REALLY don't want your respect. Maybe yesterday. But after this fiasco. meh You're an arrogant girl who thinks the world is hers to answer. You're arguments are pointless as you don't even know what was the catalyst for the entire argument. See entire post above. My arguments are pointless? Please, read over all I have said and THINK ABOUT IT. And also, it's your, not you're. I agree, I am arrogant and I think the world is for me to answer. But if my answers make sense, are logical, and are correct, I don't see any problems with that. I'll respect the person who can prove me wrong, but obviously that won't be you. I never told you to stop complaining about how being left handed is inconvenient. I only asked why do you think so. I was only curious because I am left handed and I know a great deal of people who are also and don't have your problems. And if my curiousity comes off as arrogance, well, I really don't know what to do about that. |
