hey this is dumb but is n e 1 in here Mormon? lol its a religion... lol or know n e 1 hoo is im just wonderin.. lol

Bleh it seems like so many people are confused about religion, I was taking a theology class, and an ap world history class, and religion was a siginificant part of the education. Mormon, or LDS like stated ahead^ were founded by joseph smith, they do not in any way condone or accept the practice of polygamy or incest. Polygamy was established in the past because of the call of men to fight in the civil war(resulting in many of them dieing), which placed the beginnings of the mormon faith with a 10% male population. (but in no way is polygamy practiced or accepted by the church in contemporary times)

There are known cases of people who consider themselves as mormons who go off, and practice a different lifestyle than what the church advises. That's why some people hear about incest associated with a mormon community, in no way does the church accept it or affiliate themselves with these people.
