i usually get rice, and then my mom would put some chicken, cooked veggies, and some seafood in the middle of the table. other times, we turn out all lazy and order takeout.

yeah, same here. we usually eat rice and my mom makes some vegetable or meat side dishes. and since today was my mom's birthday, we had a cake for dessert.
