useless/boring conversations, with guys Options

Is it just me, or are boys these days just BORING? Or that they don't try to even put a BIT of effort into their conversations? You can see that in these examples I TRY to make the conversation more interesting. But do YOU see them trying to come up with more long-winded descriptions? NooOO!

What do you think? Does this happen to you? What do you usually do in response to this?

i dont think its guys but some people i chat with are like that >.<

- my bestest guy friend
- the dude i like

most of my other conversations are boring...
