Does it ever annoy you to hear people like Avril or Ashlee Simpson called "punk?" It really ticks me off. Or hearing bands like Good Charlotte or Blink 182 [I love them] being called punk? I can't stand it! I'm saying this on behalf of one of the latest xanga skins. I know its just a label, but its human nature to label. But sometimes you just need to get the name right. And if your not sure, don't say anything.

I knoe, I HATE posers! They get on my DAMN nerves! I mean, I LOVE 2 listen 2 punk rock & all, but I am NOT a punk rocker AT ALL! If U look at me, U would be like "WTF?!? She Listens 2 The Sex Pistols?!?! "...but yeah. I'm very diverse when it comes 2 music, I love it all...almost . But yeah, because I HATE posers, I never label myself anything, I just label myself an Artisic Mexican-American who loves all types of music...actually, 4get that...I HATE labeling ! Labeling sux cuz ur never true 2 just that label...ex., U may be a "rocker" whose 2nd love is hip-hop or sumthing. See U can't just be labeled cuz it's just a part of U, not all of U. BUt yeah...that's just me .

i dont care.. i hate it when they label it punk too, but its music, just let it go.... and i friggin HATE when people say poser, or call people posers. THERES NO POINT in it... god people should get to be who they want without being called something..

and ashlee simpson 'oh im punk im not a poser' ticks me off ...

i dont like ashlee or avril, but whatever. thrue punk died.. a long time ago.. you'll see a few people that will make you gasp theyre so cool, but call them punk if you wish.. they would NEVER call themselves punk

true MUSIC LOVERS listen to ALL kinds of music. and shouldnt be held back by some dtupid label that a 12 year old kid gave them, because they hve no life and have no selfesteem as to make fun of someone for how they look
