lol i asked my brother:
short easy answer to not get confused: it's all the same other answer: r & b is like hip-hop but r & b has more beats. and rap is like r & b and still has the beat but not as smooth. hip-hop is usually more not as danceable as r & b. but you can still dance to both. rap is usually not danceable but has a lot of rap. but r & b and hip hop both has rap too.
