What's your definition of high maintenance? Because apparently I am "high maintenance", and I want to know how i can be....low maintenance.
And I think it means something like its takes high energy to maintain happiness or whatever? Meh. |

QUOTE(NvieDi3ai3yGrL @ Nov 18 2004, 5:55 PM) high-maintenance can you have high standards .. there are certain guidelines at which one must follow to please or impress you and keep you around. i see nothing wrong with having such standards. the moment you lower the standards the more open you are to accepting second best things when you should strive to get the best of everything. accepting half-assed stuff leaves you with no pure drive to get by everyday. never settle. there is, however, another interpretation of high-maintenance .. in which you need someone to do everything for you (i.e. you're a spoiled brat who is completely dependent) .. that's a no no .. you need to learn to support and provide for yourself. expecting others to do all the work for you is ridiculous. if you're high-maintenance in that regard then you should make sure you are able to satisfy your own needs rather than looking elsewhere for someone to do it for you. Wow she pretty much said it. High maintenance doesn't always mean your a bad person, though. It just means you are harder to please. I dont think i'm too high maintenance?? |
