So now,
I smile more in front of you,
Even though it hides the sad little girl behind it.

I am myself in front of you,
Even though I don't know who I am and everyone hates what I'm becoming.

I stay strong in front of you,
Even though when I'm alone I cry and cry.

I ignore all the "idiots" in front of you,
Even though I truly believe they are the brilliant ones and me the dunce.

You say to do these things,
And I do,
But, I'm leaving my life and happiness in your hands that way...
Yet...I can't seem to stop.
