has anyone been to one for acne? and did your dermatologist help you in anyway with your problem?

my face isnt too bad, i just have lil scars from where i couldnt stop f**king around with the ones i had. I have never went to the dermatologist before, but I went to the doctor and she gave me a perscription for some stuff. I dont know if it works because I just started using it, but I hope so. Oh, and my auntie works at the dermatologist's office, so she always gives me stuff and helps me w/ my face.
