QUOTE(Topheavy @ Nov 16 2004, 8:57 PM) this is coming from some dude who likes 50 cent.. you shouldnt even be entitled to an opinion...go back to listening to your g-unit garbage i read this on another forum and i completely agree... that nas is like barry bonds... It's so obvious that he's the best but for some reason, whether it be something petty or just straight ignorance, people decide not to realize it. I mean, I know people have different tastes in music and stuff, but if you can't feel this, then damn, I don't know what you can feel... and this isnt even directed towards jason because he probably has never even heard illmatic or it was written or even stillmatic... i dont know who you [jason] are trying to impress with your "hip hop knowledge"... you remind me of that episode of chapelle's show "trading spouses" where the black husband found his white "son" upstairs listening to 50 cent... "Yo I'm listening to the new fifty cent, man... I'm from da streets... G- g-g-g-gunit"... you are nothing but comedy BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nas ain't the best and it's not denial that makes this true... it's because he's not that lyrically dope... nor is he real.... nor did he even win the Jay-Z battle... nor has he dropped a dope album since It Was Written... HAVE LIKED A FEW SONGS SINCE THEN BUT NO ALBUMS........... I'll peep this because I gotta judge for myself but regardless, he's not best... nor is he close to it.................... and I'm not defending Em or sayin' he is anymore because this album sucked but Em on his best day is doper EASILY still... some of the verses on that album were better than Nas could ever do... hooks and beat selection killed that album (and too much singing)... and I think he freestyled some of the verses because they were so bad... he even said in Puke that he was freestyling in the verse while he was singin' (freestyle singin' LMAO -WACK!) but regardless, Em writing his verses and trying is doper than Nas any day, week, hour, minute, second, milisecond... so is Talib, Crooked I, Pharoahe Monch, Copywrite, Rakim, Common, Kool G Rap, Diabolic, and more........... I'll even say Hov... LoL AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....... HERE COMES THE ARGUMENT AGAIN!!!!!!!!! LMAO |
