Why do we constantly play this game?
First one to break the other ones heart gets an 'A'
Going at a constant,
Then it all comes crashing down,
Triggered by one event,
We all fall down.

We forgive,
and we may not forget,
but we disregard it,
and put it in the past

Let the relationship start slow,
then grow,
to something else beyond
Then let the heartfelt emotions be our downfall

At what point are we gonna stop forgiving, and not forgetting?
