right. i think that its totally unfair to force your friend to have to choose "sides" in an argument (which actually, to me.. isnt even an argument.) between yourself and another of their friends.

i have this friend who just sort of stood up for me when i wasnt able to defend myself (since much of the talking was done behind my back). He didnt really insult anyone but just brought up a good point, against what his other friend had to say about me. All he said was that she shouldnt base assumptions on what she's observed about me since she hasnt been around me long enough to have any sort of experience with me as a person. and she got all up in his ass because he "wasnt being loyal" to her some how. she gave this bullshit about how friendship is all about loyalty. i dont think that shes being a very good friend to him now, telling him that he cant defend someone just because theyre friends. i dont see why she had to drag this out into their friendship. And so what if they're friends? Does that mean he cant be friends with anyone else other than her? I dont see how she could have taken offense to something that was harmless, and TRUE at the same time.

now, as much as he'd like to deny it, i know in some way he sort of resents me now that he stood up for me and now his other friend wont even talk to him. but i dont think i did anything wrong, and i certainly dont think he did anything wrong. but i guess im still sorry he has to go through this, and now i feel like i should do something to help his situation, so ive been stressing out over it since last night, which is some MUCH unneeded stress to my life.
