Not much is out about this movie yet. Filming's still in the early stages.
For those of you who don't follow Johnny Depp's every waking moment, he's playing Willy Wonka in the Tim Burton remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Its supposed to be deliciously dark.  Thankyous to oh johnny dot net for the sneak peak photos. That is one funkeh looking Willa Wonka, ladies and gentlemen.

Tim Burton has a tendency to film his movies in a dark fashion and is usually very stylistic.
And seeing that John August is writing the screenplay (screenwriter of Big Fish) ... it should definitely prove to be very interesting. So what I guess I'm trying to say is .... don't expect this to be a light-hearted comedy ..... Oh yea .... and the title for this film is CHARLIE and the Chocolate Factory not to be confused with the classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory |
