I'm Generally Dissatisfied... Options

You know - I understand that people have lives outside of this forum and outside of their respective cliques.. but after spending most of the morning trying to figure out how to get my skin to work, and then the rest trying to find help - I'm pretty much wiped out and irritated to the brink of giving up and saying screw it.

The people on this board that know how to perform the complexities of making a skin either refuse to help, or are too bitterly caught up in their egotistical worlds to give a damn about what anyone else is doing.

Case and Point: I asked a guy for help, he was nice enough to give it - but he only answered half of my question and therefore left me more confused than before. When I requested he go into more detail, and jokingly tried to flatter him, he flexed his internet-muscles and said no. Okay, fair enough, but then several people told me to go away (this occured in the chat room hosted by this forum), I was wasting my time, they spend all day helping people.. blah blah blah..

Then one person told me that they had 4 sites to update, and they generally help 4 people a day. Understandable, you have the knowledge, other people want it, and sometimes its easy to be selfish.. but I've always been the type of person to help out when others needed it. Call me an idealist if you will, but I think helping people speaks volumes about one's character - and from what I've seen of the 'know-how's here, I'm not impressed with their characters or maturity.

If you are having to update and run 4 sites that are all online journals, we have a word for you in the world of the realistic - and it's loser. I'm not trying to be a jerk or start a flame war, but I don't think its fair that people who want to learn and don't understand, are pushed underneath the rug by those who do and are simply too selfish to share their information.

The questions that I have are not complex at all, but I've yet to find anyone here who is willing to help all the way without putting up a wall of bitching about it. To know how to create a skin is, in my opinion, something that could be valued in several circles - just like art, poetry, or anything in the manner people express themselves through.

If the burdens of assisting people are too much to bare, why do you persist in belonging to clique's that's entire association has to do with blogs? I don't understand this, and I definitely don't understand the attitudes that any of those involved showed towards me. I mean, reading some of the posts here, it seems like everyone was nice and polite, but after what I saw this morning - I'm so disgusted right now that writing this is actually satisfying.

Is there anyone here who possesses a maturity level higher than 12?

For God sakes, all I wanted was 10 minutes worth of time and help. I don't think that's too much to ask for somebody who is very active in the forums they participate in.

My apologies to the moderators for posting this here, I didn't know where it else it needed to go, and since I do actually need help - maybe SOMEONE can give it to me.
