Okay, well im not really sure, so can anyone help me out?
Im thinking about getting a Xeon motherboard and two CPUs, i was wondering if they really run as fast or faster than opteron cpu's, since the Xeon runs two CPUs. (im getting two 3.0 cpus) i wanna know if its worth spending money for... |

Alienware only sells Xeons in their workstation sections. Weren't you looking for a gaming computer?
EDIT: And you say that you have an X800 Pro in your current 3200+ PC? That's an AGP card. You just spent a lot of money, seeing as how the Xeons only have PCI-Express slots and PCI slots, no AGP slots. This post has been edited by DrNick311: Nov 7 2004, 12:46 PM |
