Okay, well im not really sure, so can anyone help me out?
Im thinking about getting a Xeon motherboard and two CPUs, i was wondering if they really run as fast or faster than opteron cpu's, since the Xeon runs two CPUs. (im getting two 3.0 cpus) i wanna know if its worth spending money for... |

I have an odd feeling that you know nothing about computers.
A Xeon is a server-only chip. Running GAMES on it will get you nowhere. Currently, the Athlon 64 is your best bet for gaming. Just because the Xeon is the most expensive thing out there doesn't mean it'll be perfect for what you plan to use it for. Take Macs, for instance. They're used widely by graphic artists because of their capabilities in that field, but gamers are out of luck with them. |
