Okay, well im not really sure, so can anyone help me out?
Im thinking about getting a Xeon motherboard and two CPUs, i was wondering if they really run as fast or faster than opteron cpu's, since the Xeon runs two CPUs. (im getting two 3.0 cpus) i wanna know if its worth spending money for... |

Yeah, Xeon's are for webservers. You'll be spending about $1000 or more for the cpu's and mobos alone. Just watch your electricity bill go up when you have to add in the cooling for it. You probably won't need that much processing power in the near future (what are you using it for?). If I were you, just get a 3.6ghz processor, I'm barely even using up the load on my 2.8ghz pentium 4.
