Superstitions Options

Does anyone know any Asian Superstitions? (Sorry)

It has to be asian because I have to do an interview, but I'm chinese...And the whole project idea is how did Halloween change over the years? But yeah, Iono any grandparents living in my neighborhood except for my own, but they didn't have Halloween..So superstitions are my next choice..

For Example: After people pass away, we have to burn money or something to pay respects...and then something about spirits and ghost ...*shrugs*

Does anyone know any?

Thanks barelyy_coherent. You helped me out the most. I'm agnostic/atheist and all, so I don't really have a religion...Basically, I have no knowledge in this burning money bringing them food thing, so thanks a whole bunch!

Haha, no problem. I'm not a die-hard Chinese for nothing =)

And a thing about the Lunar ghost festival thing...it's called the Hungry Ghost Festival and the internet seems to like the date "7th month 15th day". I always thought it was the 14th day. I've heard that from my family and relatives...but I dunno. You should probably believe the internet, at least from the reliable sites =)
