whats your definition of love? is theyr one to even start from? can you define it?
love - the feeling/emotion in which you feel sincere happiness. have felt pain &somehow been brought back together. feel like everyones opinion doesnt matter. where all flaws somehow disappear and the good in the person overtakes it. love is a word you shouldnt overuse because you may just lose its meaning. |

well i read this story a long time ago on the internet somewhere and it was a love story. anyways, at one point in it a character had this description of love which is exactly my definition as well. i saved it from the story so yeah, these words are not my own though they are exactly what i think:
QUOTE My interpretation of love is a very deep, sometimes unexplainable connection between two people. It is a longing to be with someone forever, and knowing that your life will not be complete with out that person in your life. It is more than a sexual relationship, it is a companionship that develops over time. Love is equivalent to having a best friend that you know will always make you smile, will never judge you, and know they will be there to give support, encouragement, comfort, or anything you need in your life. Being in love is letting go of all restrictions you might have, and at your most vulnerable point, giving yourself completely to that person and having complete faith that they will not hurt you in anyway. I do believe that love can be limited to a person's level of self-acceptance. In order for love to work, both people must be secure with themselves and believe that they are worthy of the being loved. I deem it possible to subconsciously attach conditions to the expression of love without realizing it. It's having that deep and unexplainable connection with someone. It's finding the person who understands you, makes you laugh, puts a smile on your face just thinking of them, accepts you for who you are, flaws and all, and believes in you.
