Interracial Relationships, ignorant people these days... Options

Yeah, I'm currently in an interracial relationship, and I can barely get through a hallway without hearing some kind of remark. 90% of the time it's derogatory. Sometimes I feel like socking one of them. You'd think people wouldn't care so much these days what with nearly everyone trying for the "ghetto" persona. (Hence one of the reasons why I love her, she's one of the few that don't try to be "ghetto," and she acts nicely and everything) Have you ever been in this situation? (Note: I am NOT going to break up with her, so don't think that's what I'm asking)

i'm in a interracial relationship rite now. i'm asian and he's half mexican and half white. but so far, we haven't had any negative remarks about us, i think (though there were some rumors spread about us when we first started dating) but there are some positive..like for example that we're a cute couple and stuff. but neways, just ignore those mean and rude people. they're probably jealous cuz u two make a very cute couple. it doesn't matter wat those people say. the only thing that matters it that u like the girl and you want to be with her.
