Yeah, I'm currently in an interracial relationship, and I can barely get through a hallway without hearing some kind of remark. 90% of the time it's derogatory.
 Sometimes I feel like socking one of them. You'd think people wouldn't care so much these days what with nearly everyone trying for the "ghetto" persona. (Hence one of the reasons why I love her, she's one of the few that don't try to be "ghetto," and she acts nicely and everything) Have you ever been in this situation? (Note: I am NOT going to break up with her, so don't think that's what I'm asking)

eh, i live in nyc, and people here are pretty tolerant. anyways, i don't see anything wrong with interracial relationships. in fact, my last relationship was interracial (i'm asian, he's white) and no one had problems with that. i guess you just have to ignore them, and its good that you're not gonna break up with her because other people think its wrong.
