I am so effing scared!!, good Lord help me Options

*Sigh* I just felt like telling some people.


I just got back from my orthodontist's office. There is something wrong with my jaw and I haveto get surgery on it!!

He explained that they're going to break my jaw and pull it forward.They even said that it'll take about a month to recover, and it'll hurt (duh).

I'm going to have swollen cheeks and bruises all over my face.


I'm so scared....Have you guys ever been under the knife?

I had appendicitis in the 8th grade. The pain before the surgery...oh my god, it's like the worst cramps you'll ever have in your life. It got to the point that when I finally went to the hospital, I couldn't even walk. At home, I had to crawl up the stairs.

But yeah, so they did the surgery thing and they found out that it had ruptured a little bit and some tissue wrapped around it or something like that. I was lucky; if the tissue hadn't done that, I probably would've been in the hospital for a month, instead of a week.

I also had to be put on antibiotics for two weeks. And they were intravenous, so I had this picc line put in my arm so it could send the medicine directly to my blood stream. It was also supposed to be easier than having it in my hand for two weeks, which it was. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt when they pulled it out.

The one unfortunate part about my whole appendicitis ordeal: it happened the week before Spring Break. So instead of missing school for two weeks, I only missed a week.
