Does anyone know where I can get 2 tutorials? One is vectoring, for PHOTOSHOP! and the other one is vexel. I'm not sure if I'm right about what vexel means but this girl did it on her xanga : asiancandie . If anyone knows where I can get tutorials on this, reply please.

the outline is still a vexel.. it was done with the same technique... its a vexel of a sillhuoette(sp).

i'll explain this.. ONE MORE TIME... this is like the 6th time ive said it..

Illustrator is a vector base program. anything you do in illustrator is basically a vector. even if you draw a square.. thats a vector.

anything you do in photoshop is a Raster, because PS is a Raster base program.

however the... i guess trendy.. version of a vector is when you draw an object or person using different levels of shapes, etc...

it's a vector because it's completely scalable. every curve you make is defined by an equation. when you scale your vector, the equation changes to make the curve completely proportionate.

when you duplicate this method in photoshop, it's still a raster.. its made up of pixels. there are no equations. when you scale it, the pixels get larger and more choppy. pixel+vector= vexel
