How to tell, a guy u like him? Options

Frankly I'm a pretty straightforward person. I like to just say wat I have on mind staight out ~ course there are times when i keep my mouth shut~ but just wondering ~ how do u tell a guy u like him and for it not to sound really awkward???

OOOH boy. I wish you luck. I'm a pretty straight forward person too, and this was my downfall, what to say. Don't get nervous and plan the scene out, have a general idea of what you want to say, but don't have a speech. But generally just go up to him, preferably when he's alone, and just say, "look, it's hard for me to say this, but I like you, more than as a person and as a friend, but I like the idea of you being something else to me." Something around those lines. Good Luck!
