ok i heard that if u apply 2 hollister for a job...the may not hire u if ur not so 'physically attractive'....in other words...is it tru that they only hire good-looking ppl...n dont hire ugly ppl .......not that i have nething 2 worry about haha....i guess cuz they have a certain image they wanna show

why are you people taking things from just YOUR hollister and abercrombie in town? Who CARES if they weren't white but let me ask you something, were they GOOD LOOKING... that's what this is about.... if they don't hire you because you aren't white... then that's discriminating... but as for the good looking idea... there is no law saying anything about THAT being discriminating.... so they can hire whoever they want just as long as they aren't discriminating... I actually like hollister and abercrombie but i'm too poor... and here, the people actually greet you and say 'oh if you need help then just ask me' and i'm like "sure"... I'm NOT white... and I'm not "preppy"... sure, I do like they're clothes but who says you have to be of one specific social group to shop there? I like variety. And the same thing goes for Hot Topic... I will walk in there and buy a band shirt while I'm sitting there wearing a miniskirt and an american eagle shirt...
So, no, they aren't stuck up here and they're not all white but they ARE all good looking... and the employees are not racist here and they aren't rude... but maybe that's because of the southern hospitality... and the employers are not discriminative... so i don't see what the problem is... so what if they don't hire you because you are ugly, if you really cared about the job then go buy a new face...
Plus, say... I were shopping somewhere that had both good looking and ugly people... i WOULD ask the good looking person for help... and not the ugly person... sure, that's selective... but what i'm trying to say is that the good looking person attracts more people... more customers are helped because the person who is attending them is good looking and such... Does anyone understand this? ANYONE?

I was gonna try to get a job at hollister but my poor grades stopped me, Some of my friends work there , And the people who i dont know are still very nice , Like mel said they greet you, and ask if u need help , But back to the topic.

No they dont only hire White people , As for hot looking, yes , of course, if ur sporting a specific image, u want ur customers to fit that image right? Anyways I'm taller and more toned than most of the guys that work at my local hollister, and no they arent asian lol, not that im saying there are no asian employees cuz they're are....BLAH ANYWAYS .
