I know the feeling, when a death occurs within your school.
When I was in middle school, one of my friends died in a fire trying to save her little sister. That was horrible. I was an absolute wreck. I just cried and cried, mainly for the reason that it just wasn't fair. She was only 13, she hadn't gotten the chance to experience life in full. When I was in high school, this kid in the grade below mine drowned. I didn't really cry for him cuz I didn't know him, but it was still sad. In late August, my college had two deaths within two weeks of each other, one of suicide, the other one, they don't know yet. They say it's natural causes. And the suicide was broadcast all over the place, they even had a picture of the girl's body wrapped in a body bag and being loaded onto a ambulance in the New York Post. That was so incredibly insensitive of them. They even had the girl's last words, "Please don't tell my father." That was so insensitive of them. Even though the girl and her father had problems, it has to hurt to see that your only daughter couldn't come to you if she was that depressed. Wow, this was longer than I meant it to be. |
