wireless internet?

heyyz iuno where to put this so i guess it would go here under comp stuff...anyway i hav comcast cable at home and about a year ago i bought a router so it works on 2 desktops, now i just got a computer in my room and i was wondering how to get internet up there without having millionsof wires...i heard that u can use a wireless router but i read into it and got REALLY confused cause it was talking about like...well really confusing stuff so any help would be appreciated ^_^

get it? lols...i'm trying to say is if u get a wireless router, can u plug that into the regular router cause my dad doesnt like wireless cause it isnt as good as a inline connection

That's generally what people do, get a wireless router. Actual wireless internet through like cellphone towers and stuff currently just isn't up to par with landlines, they're really slow, and it's expensive. Basically the wireless internet you see at Starbucks and people's houses are all Wi-Fi, either 802.11a/b/or g. Which means it's just a wireless router connected to a broadband modem to provide the surrounding area with internet. But of course if you did get a wireless router, you'd need a wireless card in your comp.
