I went to a leadership conference this weekend where I met and made friends with a lot of foreign exchange students. I had been thinking about possibly being an exchange student next year but after hearing all the great things they said about the program, I'm seriously considering it. My mom is also considering being a host family so we can host a foreign exchange student at our house. I wish the program was six months instead of twelve, however, because next year will be my senior year. I definitley have to give it more thought....Have any of you ever thought about being a foreign exchange student?

it's pretty cool to be a host family
my friend was a host family, and they didn't mind taking in another student..even though they had like 7 kids [they did...really!!] already. their mom had a HUGE heart. it was cool cuz i gotta meet all of them. the students were sooo cool!! if you become a host home, you'd probably like it
