Do any of you believe that Jin the MC will actually make big in mainstream rap?
Based on his attempt when he had 'Learn Chinese' on TRL, I don't think so. (He didn't place in the countdown) I mean, he can rap well, but can he rap for the mainstream money? |

QUOTE(xxplicit @ Oct 16 2004, 7:54 AM) the whole "jin got the whole asian community involved into hip hop". no, that's not true. asians loved hiphop before jin came out. (with me, it was bone thugz n harmony's "crossroads".. my first taste) utada hikaru, i liked her japanese music better than her american. "easy breezy" is so corny lol but i hope she succeeds also. i kinda doubt it though.. i hope that the press she's getting will help her out. (she was in seventeen magazine, a whole page =O) its all about utada, man.. first it was jin, now utada. bak then, everybody loved OR hated jin, now its utada. well at least she's doin good =) |
