republican vs. democrat? Options

I go to an all republican school, but I hardely ever get the veiws of republicans what do they stand for exactly? who do you believe is right?

Bush's time in office the Social Security was drained, which in turn means that as the youth grows to adults and the adults to the retired and over 65 we have to pay more. Espeically since the babyboom after WWI and WWII. There will be less adults to pay for more senior citizens. Thats why we don't need tax cuts and we need to build up our Social Security again and make our debt smaller. No one likes debt.

Wait so let me get this straight...

Let's say I run a business. I find out that no one is buying my product and I am losing money. The smart thing to do would be to:

1) Raise the price
2) Lower the price

If you answered #2, congratulations! You have common sense!

If you answered #1, congratulations! You must be a political science major!

Your argument was basically: "We don't have enough workers to support the moochers, so let's make life even HARDER for our workers" ... doesn't work that way according to common economic sense.

We should repudiate our foreign debt. We have a very good legal argument for repudiating the debt -- countries like Brazil and Argentina often do it when they change government because the former government spent the money on waste. Similarly, most of the money that our government has borrowed has been spent on unconstitutional programs -- when our government is replaced by a legitimate administration, then we will have the right to repudiate our debt and start anew.
