According to Rasmussen, 41% of Americans believe Kerry won, 40% believe Bush won, and 19% believe it was a tie. Gallup shows similar numbers, with 3% higher for Kerry than Bush -- all within the MoE.
In the absence of defining what a win is (like in football, we know the team that wins is the team that gets the most points), one cannot say for a fact who won ... according to poll numbers, there was no winner. No matter who won, the American people lose. |
