im reeeeally into my friends older brother, which is wrong on so many levels. he told me that i looked like molly ringwald [a compliment in my opinion] and taught me a few skate tricks, i catch him looking at me. he laughs at my dumb jokes. i dont know if he likes me or is just being polite. i have 'aquired' his screen name on AIM but he doesnt know that i have it, im scared to tell him that i like him. but if i dont tell him will i regret it?
 he's 3 years older than me. im 14 and hes 17 almost 18..  im sorry if i sound like a bloody prat, ANY advice would be helpful. thanks.. |

Don't date a friend's brother, that`s a rule that i live by... `cause that could end up ruining either the relationship or the friendship... usually, i`d say that age doesn`t matter... what, 4 years? it isn't THAT bad, right??? but then the whole maturity issue kicks in. not necessarily that he`s more mature than u are, but more in the sense that you guys are in two different places in your lives. 18 is, what, college level entrance age? and ur barely in high school? isn`t going to work.... u could risk screwing up a relationship, so in that case, i`d just keep it to myself.
