wireless internet?

heyyz iuno where to put this so i guess it would go here under comp stuff...anyway i hav comcast cable at home and about a year ago i bought a router so it works on 2 desktops, now i just got a computer in my room and i was wondering how to get internet up there without having millionsof wires...i heard that u can use a wireless router but i read into it and got REALLY confused cause it was talking about like...well really confusing stuff so any help would be appreciated ^_^

my dad doesnt like the "Wireless" theory so he said if i can...lemme just draw it...

get it? lols...i'm trying to say is if u get a wireless router, can u plug that into the regular router cause my dad doesnt like wireless cause it isnt as good as a inline connection

Yea you can have a wireless internet at home.

However, their are hackers out their driving in their car with a laptop trying to get free internet by using "certain methods". I've heard and seen this been done. It only suggested to use a wireless connection if you don't live in the city (like in the suburbs or something). If you do live in the city like Manhattan for example, you shouldn't use it because their no way to protect your connection in the air.
