do you know any words that you heard from different languages that sounds like from your language but then it's different meaning?
like i found out one word in japanese, "kiseki"... if you say that, then it's a cussing word in korean >.<;;;; my friends were all laughin' cause of it and also... i also found vietnamese word "heo" if u say it then it sounds like they are saying "hell" haha. im not makin' fun of their languages and all...just interesting. so do you know any words that you heard from different languages that sounds like from your lanuage but then it's a different meaning? . . |

im learning spanish right now. and my friends were flipping throught the book and they found the word for black which is n-e-g-r-o. i dont think thats a *bad word* but i dont like saying it. but yea they were all laughing at it. and one of my friends said in cantonese FAH KYOO means flower bridge but it sounds like f*** you.
