I felt warm and free as I gazed upon his face. I watched him running toward me and I reached out my hand welcomely. I smiled, his face less than an inch away. All of a sudden, our land was torn apart, I was now on a small rock floating into the endless darkness. I dropped my hand and didn't even attempt to jump across to his...i knew...i didn't have to. For destiny would make us meet once more.
