Xanga of the Month Options

I've noticed that in the Xanga of the Month, over half the people are voting for themsleves... Probablly to get acess to the backstage chat and free webhosting (and the props, can't forget the fame and props). I think we should make it so that people can't vote for themselves...

i mean, if they gunna create asian avenue, they should at least create black ,white, and er... pacific islander(?) avenue. like Black Blvd, White Street, and er....... Dark orange drive? okay i give up, but yall get mypoint, right?

lol, actually, jjajeeng, it turns out, if you go to the REAL site, http://communityconnect.com/ they created AsianAvenue. And they also have a blackplanet.com and a MiGente.com . Black Planet is for, well, African Americans. AsianAvenue for Asians, and MiGente for Latinos(as).

The thing is, they are trying to build a huge community online, of a certain particular group of races because they know that often people would only want to talk to other races that are somewhat the same as us. I mean, I know you don't like AsianAvenue, lol, but I was a fan of it and I only went there JUST to design my page. That site was really cool back in 6th or 7th grade to me, lol, of course you were in 5th grade then so yea that makes sense

I used that site to finally figure out how to make a layout and to learn many codes. But then I got mad becuase I believe, in the end of 2002, they stopped any javascript or music code. Then people would create more codes and then I would learn then and such, and now AsianAvenue has gotten really strict with the codes. I learned that there wasn't that much of a point in those "disable right click codes" because everyone complained about them and I could easily just view everyone's source, even with the iframes. (I have my ways ) I still sort of like that site becuase I like the fact that I an put anything on it. You have to create many skins and people had to loo for all those xanga scripts, but AsianAvenue, it was more easy for me. I worked on it mostly from scratch =)

jjajeeng, your entitled to your opinion ^_^ but deep down, lol, I still miss that site. I always wanted to be a MOTW and see what it felt like lol. BUt it's all good ^_^
