Yeah so I'm talking to this guy I like. We've been pretty good friends for awhile. And right now I'm kind of doing bad at school. So I was just telling him about it. And i dunno, this summer he was kind of ... making me mad. because everything i told him he'd go like "oh, whatever". and after i complained to him about it, i kind of just went like, okay fine you don't care so ill shut up now. because i thought he wouldn't care.
and that made him mad for some kind of reason. he thought i was giving him a stupid attitude when he was trying to cheer me up!! i mean seriously. i was just basing this on his damn attitude in the summer, whenever i'd tell him something and he'd say "i dont care" or "whatever"! so i just thought i was bugging him by telling him about my life. and now he finally cares when i think he doesn't. he just signed off on me saying "why am i even talking to you?!"

and i'm already in a bad enough mood.

ouch well i was in that situation before or atleast close to it, i dont think your at fault though cuz if you say he said i dont care or w/e then he goes back on his word he needs to realize that his jokes werent taken as jokes and trust may have been broken...you did the right thing and i hope everything works out
