Nintendo has nowhere to go but up. With the AMAZING sales over holidays last year due to the price drop, and the steady control of the handheld market. The PSP is a media driven device, hardly for gaming, and wont impace the handheld market hardly at all (Granted, more than the Ngage, but mediocre nonetheless ^.^). The DS will be amazing, and Nintendo still has its legendarily best selling games such as Zelda, Mario, Starfox, and Metroid.
The PS2 has good RPGs, but Square is slowly coming back to its roots, and without them, Sony has very little to compete with. The Xbox has Halo, which sucks, and has been LOSING money for Microsoft the entire times its been out. How can anyone compete with Nintendo? This juggernaut has been around since the 14th century, starting with a card game and blossomed into what it is today. Nintendo has revolutionized and reinvented gaming over and over and over. Anyone who argues with that, can read a history book. Oh, and check the sig. |
