Friendship stories, anyone? Options

I'm doing a speech (for speech & debate) on intimacy and friendship. If anyone has time, can they post a real-life story about it ? If you do, please clearly state what happened, how they helped, and a full-length conclusion (well, and full-length story in general). I know it's a pretty demanding request , but bleh. Your story gets to be heard to an audience.
And nothing made up please. I will be using the names you give me (not like I can prove if you're lying or not).

I don't know if this topic belongs here or the lounge, so someone can move it if it isn't in the right place.

Ahh, sorry. I just need a story that to you displays the greatest, best friendship from anyone in your life. It can be something good, but it's always better in a speech to put a cry-story about a bad problem that ends up good. Then again, a story about something good can be greatly narcotical to the audience. Whatever you think is the most impressive and moving story you have, please share. If you want.
