HHm....my friend started cutting herself and im woried
 She says that she does it to relieve her paine and suffereing, but i dunno, I've tried cutting myself before, and it hurt, so i stopped and to me, it doesn't relieve pain [IT HURTS] I want herto stop, but she said that shewants to keep doing it because it makes her feel batter Should i back off and let her do it? [im sorta backing off right now] but i still want her to stop I think its bad to cut..what do ya'll think? And Do you guys think i should back off and let her do it?

I've delt with this problem before. No Matter what they say or what is happening (and I mean anything) all they're looking for is "attention"!!! One action could be to listen to what she has to say, if she acts in a 'no talking' matter then keep asking till she'll give in, but if she walks off in an annoyed attitude then you know she wants to hide it. If you're already past that stage, slap her. This will get her attention and tell her life ain't all flowers and pixies, she needs to learn to deal with it. This is where you or someone else helps her open her eyes to this fact of life.  ~\m/ |
