i confessed... but no actions? o.O, i confessed to him but i am confuse.. Options

There's this guy I like [a lot] and last year before school ended I told him I liked him [a note] and i just ran off. When I had summer school, he was there too and so my friends went up to him one day and asked if he likes me and he said no and said some pretty mean things about me [his friend was with him when they asked] so yea. He's in my class agian this year and sometimes i catches him staring at me or we both look at each other at the same time. The same thing happened before last year in class too... I don't know if he likes me or not, he never really replied to what i told him and I'm too afraid to ask him. We don't really talk much either... so I don't know... anyone's opinions are welcomed! thanks! ^______^

honestly i dont think he likes u, hes just intrigued by the idea of someone liking him oO; ... if i found out someone liked me, and i liked them, i wouldnt hold back 1 second show my affection towards the person... so no i dont think he likes u..
