i need to lose weight in a week does anybody have any suggestions?

It will generally take you longer than a week to take off weight and keep it off. Starving yourself is definitely a no-no. If you want to speed your metabolism up there are a few things you can do. One is to eat small healthy snacks through out the day. Another thing you can do is walk 30 min. before or after you eat. The important thing is to get active and stay active. Find an excercise regimen that works for you and stick to it. So yEah....hope that helped.
