Do you believe in fate? ? i do.. i seem to believe the "everything happens for a reason" quote thing... so yea.. what about everyone else, believe or no? leave comments if you want.

Fate, predestination...aren't they pretty much the same thing? That everything happens for a reason, or with prior planning?
I personally don't believe any of it at all. The world's a big place, you know, coincidences DO happen. It's like you're setting all the blame on some abstract idea for something you didn't like. "Oh, I got fired...it must be a sign. WHY ME?!?!?" Why you? Why not you? You're the person who got yourself fired in the first place, you created this all yourself. All of your actions affect your future. All of those actions that you chose to do. And when something good happens, we all want to feel special. "You know...fate put us together. We just walked down the street and saw each other! It was definitely a true sign. It was love." Sure, it could have been love. Was it a sign? No. Was it fate? No, not really. We have brains. We have minds. We control them. I'm sorry to say that no little person is inside of us, controlling our every move. |
