Our school does have it, and I do plan to join.

My school has it, and I'm in it ! Ours is navy, and I must admit, we are pretty damn good. I'm on 3 outta the 5 teams in RO and they are Unarmed Drill Team, YPF (Youth Physical Fitness) Team, and Academic Team. We're well known for our YPF team, because we pretty much take 1st place in every event [sit ups, push ups, 1600 yd run, and 220 yd run] we compete in during field meets (competitions). We're the school that everyone wants to beat. Our drill teams and color guard are pretty good too, but it's YPF is where we're best at.

Just last year, we placed first in all the field meets we've competed in, and at regionals, we placed 3rd outta 60 units in our area. We should've placed 1st, but out academic scores were kinda low, and our drill didn't perform as well as we usually do at other field meets.

But you know what sucks though? The NJROTC teams are probably the only teams that actually win stuff at school, and we barely get recognized for our achievements. I mean, our football team sucks, our basketball team sucks, our baseball team sucks... you get the idea. If one of those teams actually win a game, it's like one big celebration, and they got cocky, and lose the next couple of games they have...
