i'm a vegeterian and i know my parents don't like it even though they say it's fine and most of my friends don't like it either. any advice on what i should do?

i agree... my mom hates it that i don't eat red meat... and even tries to cook a whole meal with nothing but meat in all the dishes to try to get me to eat it... but eventually, they give up and respect you... bring your own lunch to school if you have to. My best friend and I both have issues with our parents about this... but eventually they give up... and sometimes even buy particular things because we prefer to eat it (i.e. organic chicken without the hormones). We're not TRUE vegans... but keep doing your thing. Your friends will adapt to it in the end. My friends still tease me about it... but its all good
