I was thinking today about the issue, and how it's basically religion vs. science.
And I thought about how the Bible lets Christians believe that God is an omniscient power who knows what you're going to do before it happens, and rules accordingly. Therefore, if he knew everything was going to happen before it did, why wouldn't the natural discovery of cloning be any different? As well, the cultivation of cloning as a medical asset? It'd be just another sin that he'd deal with when you get to Heaven, but that doesn't necessarily stop the process from happening does it? This doesn't necessarily mean I support cloning, but I'm wondering what your thoughts on this point of view are. Debate, my pretties! |
