Haha I do ... my shoes are all marked with Sharpie .. i wrote "GO LAKERZ" all over it
 and a couple of my friends drew all over it.

no, i do not damage my shoes. i keep them usually clean. if the shoe is rare, i would sell it on ebay to make some moneyy hahahah
