QUOTE(aznsorpor @ Sep 7 2004, 2:26 AM) i thought that love and infatuation is very similar. both of it is just a feeling that you have and can't really explain. i think that love does have to be shared for it to be completely called love but infatuation may be just like one way. if you feel either way i don't think it really matters what the meanings of those two words are as long as you can interpret what you feelings are telling you. Yes, I agree with what you said. I think infatuation is one-sided and basically, yuou're just obsessed with the person, but your significant other doesn't feel the same way back. I agree, for love to really be considered love, it has to be returned, both ways. Infatuation is not the same as love because it can really hurt you for a very tiny reason. I know people who say they "love" others when the person they like doesn't even really know them nor dated them. And it's sad because infatuation can make you do crazy things. What if you say the person you were infatuated with all over another person? It can make you depressed and alot of things, even when you're not in a relationship. |
