QUOTE(s0emotionalx3 @ Sep 3 2004, 10:32 PM) Havent you ever been to a cheerleading competition? They have dance routines too. I'm not saying dancing is a bad thing too, but Im just saying that cheerleading isn't just jumping around waving pom poms and smiling while yelling. And cheerleading takes more work than most of you think so maybe you should try it out for yourself before assuming its that easy. Well, from what I know, cheerleaders do not dance at football games. They sit there or cheer with their fake smiles. And cheerleading is harder than dancing? Okay what kind of dancing are we talking about first of all? Breaking? Ballet? Hip hop? Breaking takes a lot of effort than cheerleaders. Ballet? Pointed toes and all that jazz. I'm not saying that cheerleading is bad, but I just think dance is waay better. QUOTE but cheerleading is ACTUALLY a sport and people DO have to work for it. It's not all wave the pompoms. Theres actually moves and stunting and all that stuff, AND it's still got dancing in it. I don't consider cheerleading an actual sport. |
